Nuwa Integrative Wellness is in search of holistic health practitioners to team up with our busy fertility- and pregnancy-focused Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to support fertility, pregnancy, and other women’s health patients.
Due to our tremendous growth and specialized patient needs, Nuwa Integrative Wellness is searching for a few holistically-oriented providers with a strong interest in ‘women’s’ health to join our team. If you are passionate about nurturing people experiencing reproductive conditions such as menstruation, childbearing, hormonal imbalance and menopause, physically and emotionally, while building your own practice within a supportive team setting, we’d love to chat!
Providers can work as little as one half day per week in our welcoming clinic conveniently located on Hwy 26 in downtown Gresham.

Licensed Acupuncturist
This is a 6 month paid internship position with Dr. Stephanie Swanson Eastin, involving 2-3 clinical days per week. This position is perfect for someone that is passionate about women’s health and the blending of classical and traditional Chinese medicine with modern medical science, and would like to launch their practice instead of re-inventing the wheel by learning first-hand clinical and business pearls and processes with a successful women’s health, sports medicine, and chronic disease Chinese medical practitioner.

About the Business:
Nuwa Integrative Wellness focuses on fertility, pregnancy, and other women’s health conditions. It is a top option for integrative Chinese medical care for these conditions within a very broad area. In addition, a wide variety of other conditions are treated.
The owner, Dr. Stephanie Swanson Eastin, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the only Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine between outer east Portland and east of Portland communities. She has helped many people conceive over the past 12 years of practice, and is a top choice for fertility (including ART support), pregnancy, and women’s health patients from east Portland, Gresham, Troutdale, Corbett, Sandy, Mt. Hood communities, Oregon City, Happy Valley, Damascus, Boring and surrounding areas.
She received her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a focus on Women’s Health and Aging Adults in 2020 from OCOM, a Masters of Acupuncture from NUNM in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Viterbo University in 2004. In 2012, she became a Fellow of the Hunyuan Institute, which teaches a classical and powerful style of Chinese herbal medicine with a focus on fertility. She has lectured at NUNM on the topic of fertility and classical Chinese medicine.
Dr. Eastin is a certified practitioner of Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, a certified Sports Medicine acupuncturist, and an advanced Chinese herbalist. She also had the honor of being listed on Portland Monthly’s list of Top Acupuncturists for 7 consecutive years.
Other Nuwa practitioners include a pregnancy, infant, and women’s health-focused craniosacral therapist and teacher whom specializes in visceral manipulation, internal pelvic therapy, and trauma therapy, an excellent massage therapist, a fascial stretching therapist specializing in postpartum therapy, and a nutritionist.
Compensation:
Billing services are included. Payment for service collections and retail commission minus rent is made to practitioner monthly.
Practitioner will be an independent contractor and pay rent via a percentage model that involves a minimum and maximum (with small ongoing percentage collected for ongoing billing and supply expenses after maximum is reached).
