About

Cupping, moxibustion, and Asian bodywork are unique therapies that support the body internally and externally.

What To Expect

Cupping

This ancient technique incorporates cups that are applied to the surface of your skin and stick by removing oxygen. Cupping often leaves marks on the skin that resemble bruises, however they are not painful and disappear within days. Cupping brings circulation and blood to the surface of the skin and muscle, removing toxins responsible for pain. For patients with joint and muscle pain, cupping can be a powerful remedy.

Moxibustion:

This classic Chinese medicinal treatment technique includes burning of herbal substances above the skin in specific areas of the body to produce varying levels of heat. As moxa warms the body, it increases blood flow, nourishes the immune system, and can help improve painful menstruation, arthritis, and much more.

Bodywork:

This includes a variety of hands-on techniques, including tui na, shiatsu, Thai and other massage techniques to alleviate both acute and chronic conditions.
